This policy explains what information the Guess The Scale mobile game ("the app") handles and why. We have no accounts, no servers and no analytics of our own.

Information stored on your device

The app saves your points, streaks, level, the daily challenge status, the player name you choose for friend rooms, and friends' room results. This data stays on your device. We never receive it, and deleting the app deletes it.

Camera

If you choose to scan a friend's room QR code, the app uses your camera only to read that code. Images are processed on your device and are never stored or sent anywhere.

Sharing room links

When you share a room invite or result, the app opens your device's share sheet. The link contains the room code, the player name you entered and your score. You decide who receives it.

Advertising (Google AdMob)

The app shows ads served by Google AdMob. To serve and measure ads, Google may collect and process information such as your device's advertising identifier (Android Advertising ID or Apple IDFA), IP address, approximate location derived from it, device and app information, and interactions with ads. Google may use this information to show personalised ads where you have allowed it.

• In the EEA, the UK and Switzerland, and in other regions where it is required, the app asks for your consent through Google's consent form before personalised ads are shown. You can change your choice at any time from Privacy settings on the app's home screen.
• On iOS, the advertising identifier is only accessed if you allow tracking in Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt.
• You can also reset or limit your advertising ID in your device settings.

Children

The app is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

We may update this policy. The date at the top shows the latest version.
